Who We Are
Restore Restaurant Holdings is a family-owned business where each member brings a different skill set to create a high-performance management team. In addition to the senior management team below are family members JJ Monroe, a trained musician whose creativity is channeled into his role as beverage director, and Nancy Monroe (Dennis’s wife) who has leveraged her editor/writer background into marketing and PR efforts. Joining the family are experienced hospitality professionals with culinary, staffing, operations and problem-solving expertise.
Senior Leadership Team
Matt Monroe
Matt has a business and finance background, including managing investments for a family office for a decade in NYC and Connecticut. He’s studied wine, traveled extensively to gain insight into culinary trends and had a short stint with a Danny Meyer restaurant in NYC, learning the legendary restaurateur’s highly touted serving style. Matt oversees Restore’s financial well-being and the company’s ongoing growth plans.
Alexander Monroe
Alexander is a proven executive with experience leading high-growth startups, turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, and company restructurings. He led the enterprise strategy and customer insights group for a large, global hotel owner/operator, served as CEO for a global security contractor, in addition to building and selling his own companies. Alexander holds an MBA in international finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management where he graduated at the top of his class.
Dennis Monroe
Dennis is a nationally renowned business attorney with Monroe Moxness Berg and law professor at St. Thomas University School of Law in Minneapolis. He specializes in mergers, acquisitions and finding creative business and financial solutions for restaurants and franchises. He was bit by the restaurant bug while serving as CEO of Parasole Restaurants (2009-2011), a successful multi-concept company in Minneapolis.
Vincent Francoual
Vincent is a highly renowned chef with roots in Southwest France. He’s spent his entire life in kitchens, from France and Italy to Le Bernardin in NYC and Un Deux Trois in Minneapolis. He started his own restaurant, Vincent a Restaurant, on Nicollet Avenue which ran successfully for nearly 15 years. Most recently he’s been the Executive Chef at Minikahda Country Club.
